Since our inception in 1960, our team has grown and has attracted some of the top talent in the engineering world and beyond. Meet some of the leaders that keep ACI at the forefront of the compression industry.

Chad Brahler

President

Chad is a proven 25- year compression industry veteran, focused on reciprocating compression application, design and field service with Cooper Cameron and ACI leading ACI for the last 12 years. He has authored numerous technical papers and published articles. He is active in the Gas Compressor Association, the Gas Machinery Research Council and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America having participated on many industry panels and committees.

Chad is recognized as an industry subject matter expert in multiple disciplines including Compressor Modeling, Compressor Performance and Safety, Compressor Selection, Detailed Compressor Performance Reviews, Applications Engineering, Load Step Determination, and Compressor Component Design and Manufacturing.

Chad graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Systems Engineering and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. He is currently a Commander in the U.S. Navy supporting the Office of Navy Research (ONR) as a project manager located in Norfolk, VA. Prior to joining the Office of Navy Research, he supported U.S. Forces Japan as a Staff Operations Planner and Military Sealift Command as a Port Operations Specialist for U.S. Central Command. Additional duty assignments include a mobilization in August 2009 assigned to Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group Forward as a Company Commander located in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. He commanded a team of 104 personnel in providing an array of operational support to the 3rd Army’s 1st Sustainment Theater Command. Previous reserve tours include Operation and Training officer at Command Naval Forces Europe 6th Fleet Maritime Partnership Program in Pittsburgh, PA. Previously, CDR Brahler was assigned to the Merchant Marine Individual Ready Reserve Program providing operational support to MARAD’s Ready Reserve Fleet.

Joe Reiheld

VP, Engineering

Joe has more than 25 years of experience in the compression industry.  In March 1998, Joe started with Anglo Compression Inc. in Danville, OH.  which became ACI Services Inc. located in Cambridge, OH.  In his 25 years of service, Joe has positively impacted many areas throughout the organization.  In the early years at ACI, Joe led the sales efforts and business development.  After leading the sales efforts, Joe then moved over to assist with the procurement, vendor management and inventory control.  As ACI continued to grow, Joe’s experience and expertise allowed him to move up to become Material Manager, V.P of Operations, V.P of Quality Control and currently Vice President of ACI Services Inc. leading the Engineering and Project Management teams.

Dwayne A. Hickman

VP, eRCM Products and Services

Dwayne has been in the compression industry for over 27 years, all of those with ACI. Dwayne also serves as an active member of the GMC Planning Committee. He has published numerous articles and has presented many technical papers and short courses.

Dwayne’s expertise includes: Compressor Modeling, Compressor Performance and Safety, Software Design and Development, Detailed Compressor Performance Reviews, Applications Engineering, Load Step Determination and Implementation into PLC’s, Control Logic, Tuning Compressor Models to Analyzer Data, Digital Twin Integration into Third-party Platforms, and Technical Training.

Brett Kyle

VP, Operations

Brett Kyle began his career in manufacturing in 1998, working in the aviation and CNC machine industries. In 2002 Brett went to work for GAS Products in Blue Springs Missouri, a well-respected valve manufacturer for the Natural Gas industry. There he was mentored by Lauren Sperry. He served as Manufacturing Manager at GAS for 6 years.

In December of 2008, Gas was purchased by ACI and Brett stayed on as Manufacturing Manager in Blue Springs. During this time Brett worked under Norm Shade. In 2015 Brett became Operations Manager for both Cambridge and Blue Springs Operations, being responsible for Materials, Scheduling, Quality control, machining, and production in both locations.

In 2018 Brett was named V.P. of Operations for ACI Services. He continues at this position today under ACI’s president, Chad Brahler. With over 20 years of experience in the Reciprocating Compressor Industry and an in-depth knowledge of valves of all types and sizes, Brett brings valuable expertise to ACI and our customers.

Les Wymer

VP, Accounting and Human Resources

Les has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2003 and has been with ACI since 2017. Prior to ACI, Les worked at a regional accounting firm for over 17 years working with small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries, including the natural gas industry.  His expertise includes Accounting and Finance, Cost Accounting and Taxation.  He currently oversees the financial functions of ACI in addition to Human Resources and Information Technology.
