Our Commitment to ESG

ESG has been a hot topic in our industry lately and it seems everyone is weighing in.  Here at ACI, we have been examining what ESG means and what it means to be an ESG-committed company.  

In our review, ESG is not something you buy, not something you just say because everyone is doing it.  It is a commitment in the truest sense of the word.  It is a constant.  It is a culture. 

What we have discovered in our 60+ years as a company, is that it is always how we have done business.  Long before ESG was a ‘thing’, it has always been a part of what we do –  our corporate ‘lifestyle’.

As many of you may well know, ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance and how these three areas relate to the day-to-day workings of an organization, the products and services they offer, and the way they conduct their business.  With respect to Environmental it is how we have designed our products to help increase efficiency.  But it is also the smaller details.  Replacing our shop lighting to low-wattage LED bulbs, for instance.  For our Social commitment, we have a long track record of charity and contribution to our local community.  For our Governance, we hold quarterly safety meetings and are very proactive in terms of our employee culture.  Below are links to how we are addressing these ESG areas in more detail.  These commitments are important to us, are vital to our world, and allow us to assist our customers and partnerships in informing everything we do.
